Young Leaders Mentoring Program

A two-way mentoring relationship where both parties come with issues and goals to collaborate

SITE Mentoring Members

This exciting new program is designed to provide young leaders with connections across our SITE Global community, in order for them to develop their careers within the incentive industry. The program offers opportunities to collaborate with different sectors within the incentive industry, with people from different chapters, and with people who have years of incentive experience.

Program Pillars

Sharing Experiences

The goal is to have a two-way mentoring relationship where both parties come with issues and goals to collaborate together. Understanding how people approach tasks differently, not only strengthens your knowledge but also helps both parties determine new ways of approaching situations to use in the future.

Mutual Support

Through this relationship, each party will support each other and be a sounding board. Mutually beneficial mentorship creates a powerful learning environment between both parties. It’s an opportunity to expand viewpoints, learn new ways of thinking, and encourage each other on career goals.

Open Mindedness

Each party will approach their relationship with an open mind, empathy, and patience.

Communication

Clear and effective communication on expectations and goals by both parties is integral for a successful mentoring relationship.

Commitment

The key to an effective mentor-mentee relationship is commitment. Mentoring takes time and energy from both parties and each should be dedicated to playing their part and developing a strong relationship.
