Striving to Stop Sexual Harassment in the Events Industry SITE & EISHTF Partnership

Philip Eidsvold siging EISHTF pledge

In its ongoing efforts to end sexual harassment, SITE has teamed up with the Association for Women in Events (AWE), a not-for-profit organization supporting gender equality and diversity in the events industry, as well as several industry leaders, to form the Events Industry Sexual Harassment Task Force (EISHTF).

This coalition, which encompasses leaders and executives from SITE, AWE, ASAE, EIC, IMEX, JMIC, MPI, PCMA and SISO, was created to gather everyone behind a common goal: eradicating sexual harassment in the events industry. While these groups have been addressing sexual harassment separately, we’ve determined this issue requires policies that span beyond the confines of each individual organization.

The task force recognizes that when it comes to ethical concerns and human rights, we are stronger together!

Continue to check this page, plus AWE’s EISHTF page, for our endeavors and updates regarding this crusade, along with additional resources, press coverage and partner details.
