My passion(s) for our industry which I envision contributing most in this role is….

Being a SITE member for 15 years I very much wanted to open a Polish Chapter. After 2 years of work - attracting members and educating them on the benefits of a Polish SITE chapter for personal, professional development plus the development of the MICE industry in Poland - SITE Poland came into being. My work was supported by strong engagement of many Polish MICE professionals. We launched our educational program to improve members’ competences and set and promote high standards of organising incentive travels. Regular meetings provide an occasion to network and exchange knowledge on the current trends, issues and challenges our environment is facing. Leveraging corporate social responsibility in various target groups provides a real opportunity to address, evaluate and improve new CSR initiatives.

I will bring the following qualifications and experience to this position:

  • British American Tobacco – Sales & Marketing, different positions
  • ICP Group S.A President of the Board - leading MICE and Luxury Travel-oriented company, winner of SITE Crystal Awards (twice) laureate of MP Power Awards (six times, local, most recognisable industry award;
  • President of Polish Society of Incentive Travel Organizers (SOIT) and Member of the Board for 6 years;
  • President of SITE Poland chapter, creator and first President (2015-2017)
  • member of :
    • Incentive Marketing Association
    • Jury MP Power Awards contest
    • Organising Committee of Meetings Week Poland – events promoting Polish MICE industry
    • Business Council of Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality Management
    • Presidents - Volunteers Coalition – promoting social engagement among business leaders
  • Awarded with:
    • 2008 Personality of The Year - MICE POLAND magazine
    • 2014 the Gold Cross of Merit from the President of Poland
    • 2014 Minister of Economy Diploma of Recognition to mark the 25th anniversary of the Polish transformation

My primary reason for wanting to serve on the SITE Board is….

To be successful, businesses need to add value, externally and internally. Nowadays, management cannot exist in a vacuum. My experience shows that rewarding & awarding employees, clients and partners with non-financial benefits significantly increases job satisfaction and organisation loyalty. It creates self-directed brand ambassadors.

I see the SITE Board as an essential champion of this approach. Motivation – via offering incentive ideas; engaging in CSR activities; creating broad perspectives for building new competences. These will help create a growing awareness of how to address issues in contemporary businesses, in an effort to build future organisation satisfaction and increased profits.

If I am elected, I hope to achieve the following:

  • Reaching with SITE philosophy, mission, values, quality and ethical standards the CEE region with local and regional meetings and seminars;
  • Getting new members from Poland and our region to SITE;
  • Making clients and partners aware of incentive travel being an effective business tool;
  • Gaining young people for SITE via seminars and SITE young leaders’ forum - educating young professionals, influencing their way of working and thinking, providing good examples, values and showing best practices;
  • Attracting corporate professionals
  • Spreading the idea of CSR in the industry among SITE members and educating clients and partners on the importance of such initiatives - globally and locally;
  • Making the Polish chapter of SITE a significant point on the SITE global map, as a platform to support SITE professionals in Eastern Europe and Baltic countries, to stimulate activities in the region.

My passion(s) for our industry which I envision contributing most in this role is….

My passion both in life and in business is my network of friends, peers, mentors - from all ages and parts of the world. I believe we learn the most from each other, when we are together and when we are collaborating. Over the years, thanks to our global industry and SITE, I was able to build a strong network of partners and clients alike. I take great joy & honor in promoting incentive travel industry (and SITE’s mission) while shining a light on our members & chapters and supporting the great work that they do. I am proud to connect people and hope to bring our community together while encouraging and enabling us to learn from each other.

I bring the following qualifications and experience to this position:

Through my role as Business Development for our DMC I bring a global network of buyers and suppliers alike and hope to grow SITE in further parts of the World like South East Asia and Middle East. In my 7 years of serving SITE in various programs, committees and roles – I know the strengths and weaknesses of the association. I’ve also been involved in the transition period of SITE (from an AMC to Hybrid Model) and have established a close working relationship with SITE’s Leadership Team in order to help pursue our goals.

My primary reason for wanting to serve on the SITE Board is….

My primary reason for wanting to serve on SITE Board is to give back to the association that has helped me become both the professional and the person I am today. Over the years I have seen how important being part of such a family is whether it was the mentorship opportunities or support during the toughest of times for my business. I feel it is my mission to share my experience with members and non-members around the world and help support and improve the association in any way I can.

If I am elected, I hope to achieve the following:

I hope to see the establishment and growth of Incentive Summit Europe into a success both in terms of prestige and financial support for our association. I wish to continue my role as Young Leaders Program liaison furthering its goals in larger membership for the annual conference (and more global attendance) and more SITE Chapters establishing their own YL Programs. I am also keen on the inaugural Sustainability continuing its role in promoting Sustainbility both within SITE and also in the larger MICE Industry. Finally and most importantly I hope to strengthen the communication, information & value sharing and business among our membership.

If you are a sitting SITE IBOD Officer, what has been your contribution to the association? And why do you feel you are deserving of a second term?

In my 3 years on the SITE International Board of Directors I have mainly focused on Young Leaders (as Board Liaison for 3 years), Membership, SITE in Europe and this year on Sustainability.

As the Board Liaison for SITE Young Leaders, I have helped the YL Committee in attracting more talent & speakers, grow their community, sustain operational and leadership support and manage their budgets. The new YL Programs being founded in various SITE Chapters is a pride and joy for us. We can safely say that in its 13th year, SITE YL Program is the best and most renowned of its kind in our global industry. The program is also a sort of Leadership school for SITE’s future leaders, so maintain that mentorship role with the YL Alumni has been my biggest passion.

I have also focused on Membership both operationally and globally. I have sought to work with Membership Committee to overhaul the Committee’s roles & duties and formation to make it more efficient & effective. Through our diligent overview and recommendations, Chapter Resource Council has been founded to help ailing chapters. I have personally contacted & built relationships with EMEA Chapter Leaders to support in any way I can, often connecting them with SITE Leaders and Staff – and at times each other – to create a support community.

Finally this year I was privileged to be a co-chair of the inaugural Sustainability Committee, through which we are seeking to create & present SITE’s very own Sustainability Charter in the Global Conference in Bangkok. We have worked to incorporate a sustainability element to all SITE Events, attract thought leadership pieces from our sustainability champion members and create media campaigns around building awareness on Sustainability in the Incentive Travel Industry – hoping to position SITE as the leader in this area.

My passion(s) for our industry which I envision contributing most in this role is….

My 3yrs on the Board have been an amazing. I have had the opportunity to grow our
education curriculum and manage the development of our new certification CITP…it was
a labour of love. For my next three years, I will continue to grow access globally to all of our certification programs and will facilitate the re-development of our executive level certification (CITE).

My other ‘hat” this year on the Board is Sponsorship. I will continue to look for ways to
offer our supplier partners good value for their investment in our organization.
I also want to continue to build collaboration between working groups. Ensuring we are
engaging different people to get involved in sharing new ideas, technological
developments, and look for ways for our association to evolve.
Our Young Leaders program has been successful within many regions I want to
continue to support and grow their enthusiasm globally.

I bring the following qualifications and experience to this position:

My term on IBOD has been a great experience and has provided me with great insight
into our association.

I graduated with a BCOMM followed by Masters of Leadership. These were crucial in
providing me with a viewpoint on global business and assisted me in my own leadership
development. I believe this has contributed to me being an effective contributor around
the Board table.

I am an entrepreneur with over 25yrs experience in the world of incentive travel. I
manage two companies; Meeting Encore Ltd. and Intuitive Conferences & Events. I have
worked on both the planner and supplier side and understand the perspectives of both
sides and value the relationships both have provided me.

I have been volunteering for over 25yrs in industry organizations including SITE, SITE
Canada (Past President), MPI, FICP and advisory boards. These volunteer roles allow
me to continue to bring a unique perspective to the Board.

My primary reason for wanting to serve on the SITE Board is….

To be able to contribute to an industry that I am passionate about. I want to continue serving our
members on the SITE Board, as I am midway through a program of work that I believe requires
continuity in personnel to complete. I successfully managed the CITP project and now SITE has 2
certification programs that underline its indispensable position as the go to association for
everything concerning incentive travel. Once the re-developed CITE is launched, SITE will be the
undisputed repository for education, learning and development for incentive travel professionals. I
want to be re-elected to ensure that the momentum we have created to build a strong educational
foundation for association is achieved. It takes a village and I want to work with our passionate
volunteers to work together globally.

If I am elected, I hope to achieve the following:

If re-elected, I will ensure SITE’s position as leader in education, networking, research and
advocacy for incentive is strengthened. I promise to contribute strategically, thoughtfully and
honestly to SITE Painted Picture and ensure that members and membership benefits are at the
core of our vision and mission. I will represent the North American region and the sector in which
I work faithfully, and fairly and ensure that all members have a strong voice across the
Boardroom table.

I will also work with our supplier partner sponsors to ensure good ROI of their investment in our
organization while growing financial support for the development of new programing.
It would be my pleasure to continue to serve our association and its members. Thank you for your
support.

If you are a sitting SITE IBOD Officer, what has been your contribution to the
association? And why do you feel you are deserving of a second term?

During a lengthy transition period of SITE’s management, realigning SITE’s value proposition and
welcoming new leadership, it has been a busy 2.5 years thus far on the Board.
I have had the opportunity to participate and lead several initiatives including:

-Curriculum review of existing educational programs in our Knowledge Centre
-Manage the creation of new course content in our curriculum
-Facilitate SITE speakers presenting at more cross-industry events
-Review and assess our association’s management structure.
-Project manage and contribute content to the development of our new mid-tier certification
program- CITP (Certified Incentive Travel Professional)
-Develop content for our overview modules for our CITP certification
-Review opportunities for further education development
-Create opportunities for new educational formats at our Global Conference and Incentive
Summit Americas including SITE Storytellers and Learning Lounges
-Budget review
-Sponsorship development and new partner growth
-Presented education at both SITE and linear association events
-Continue to engage members to get involved and to give back to our community
The decision to run for a second term was not taken lightly. It is a big financial and time commitment
to serve, but I feel that I have more to contribute in other areas of our association including strategic
development of our 2023 Painted Picture (future vision), global growth of our certification programs
and continuous development of new networking opportunities.
I want to work with the Young Leader volunteers to support and grow our Young Leader program
globally.

As a former SITE Canada President, I am aware of what goes on at the grassroots level of our
association and want to work with our Chapters to support their needs that are unique globally.
Our volunteers give of themselves tirelessly and give their personal time, and I want to recognize
the good work they are doing to build our association.

I also want to continue working on engaging our corporate buyer members and ensuring we are
growing this segment of our membership

It has been a privilege to serve and I hope to continue to work for our members to strengthen our
association for the future. Thank you.

My passion(s) for our industry which I envision contributing most in this role is…

I have a passion to see SITE cast its message farther; to see more corporations realize
the positive effects that incentive travel delivers to their business, both to employee
motivation and to the bottom line. Increased industry involvement and engagement with
SITE is key to accomplishing this mission.

My passion for SITE is a bit infectious. I am quick to share the benefits I have personally
realized with SITE to inspire industry colleagues to attend SITE events and get involved
on a local or international level. I have personally influenced over 20 industry
professionals to become members in the past year.

I bring the following qualifications and experience to this position:

With over 10 years’ experience in this industry, and another ten as a manager tasked
with motivating a sales force, I bring a true appreciation of the results that incentive
travel delivers.

I have been intimately involved with the resurrection of SITE Chicago from a chapter on
the brink of dissolution in 2014 to serving as president as the chapter was awarded
Chapter of the Year in 2017. As a chapter leader during this rebirth, I helped to focus
objectives to engage local industry members/colleagues with a grass-roots, personal
outreach combined with quality education/networking events. These efforts have led to a
chapter membership increase of 44%, as well as robust member engagement, with 26%
of chapter membership involved either on the board or on a committee.

I will bring this same dedication and inspiration to the international level, ultimately
driving engagement and membership with SITE.

My primary reason for wanting to serve on the SITE Board is….

I want to make a difference and continue to contribute to an organization that has
rewarded me in so many ways. I intend to channel this passion to build an even stronger
association through deeper member engagement.

My aim is to be a catalyst to further dialogue between the IBOD, chapters, members,
and the industry at large, with the goal of:

1. Developing opportunities to work together to drive SITE’s mission
2. Facilitating a better understanding of issues that may be hindering success

I want to share the success story of SITE Chicago to inspire not only stronger chapter
engagement, but also increased membership and participation at international SITE
events.

If I am elected, I hope to achieve the following:

As part of the IBOD, I hope to increase engagement, driving membership and
innovation.

I plan to focus on enriched collaboration among the IBOD, chapters, members, and
industry professionals to encourage dialogue that unifies objectives. Increased
engagement with the chapters will provide the IBOD a richer understanding of local
challenges and guide the utilization of tools available to support SITE’s mission and
promote membership.

My vision is for a camaraderie the flows from the local level to the international level,
fully uniting all in SITE’s mission. This is an industry of innovative, synergetic
professionals; I intend to listen and advocate on how we can work together to make our
industry stronger.
