SITE Past Presidents Council Shares Updates on Key Priorities

Site Global Conference - Past Presidents Council lo res.jpgThe SITE Past Presidents Council is comprised of global leaders and pioneers in the motivational events and incentive travel industry that served as SITE Presidents during the association’s 42-year history. The mission of the Past Presidents Council is to further advance SITE’s long-term goals to expand the industry, create new educational opportunities and recognize industry leaders and organizations for meritorious service.

2015 Council Chair, Patrick Delany, CITE, SITE president in 1992 and Managing Partner, SoolNua, shared updates on the council’s priorities for this year.

SITE History Project – Thanks to the hard work and leadership of Fay Beauchine, the council has completed the SITE History Project, which will provide  a compelling narrative of SITE’s history, and a video that can be used by SITE chapters and at SITE events. Our plan is to introduce the video at IMEX America.

Richard Ross Past Presidents’ Award - During the SITE Global Conference in India the council will present the second Richard Ross Past Presidents’ Award for Outstanding Service to the Incentive Travel Industry. The award, named in honor of SITE’s ninth president, who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York City, recognizes an individual or organization that has furthered the vision, ideals and ethics of SITE. The council is also reviewing the Richard Ross Award and other awards that we are involved with to update the criteria and identify ways to recognize other past presidents who are no longer with us.

SITE Promotional Presentation - Members of the council have contributed to the development of SITE’s new power point presentation that will be made available to chapters to use to market the SITE brand, promote the benefits of being a member of SITE and share valuable trends and research on how incentive travel = business results.
