Rhea Stagner – Immediate Past President, SITE Foundation & DVP, Sourcing and Supplier Relations, Maritz Travel
A 17-year veteran of the meetings, events and incentive travel industry, Rhea currently fulfills a role at Maritz Travel focused on building strategic relationships with destination management companies, hotels and supplier partners. She also leads its business intelligence team in charge of data intelligence and industry insights.
Rhea has served in a variety of roles with responsibility for ensuring innovation and quality control for Maritz Travel and its clients. She has managed and designed more than 70 incentive travel programs, led several corporate-wide customer events, implemented new standards for buyer performance and developed new metrics and standards to foster more strategic supplier relationships.
Pádraic Gilligan – Chief Marketing Officer, SITE & Managing Partner, SoolNua
Pádraic co-founded SoolNua, a boutique marketing consultancy helping destinations, hotels and venues with marketing, strategy and training for the MICE marketplace. Previously, he was Vice President of Ovation, MCI’s global DMC network, and Vice President of Industry Relations at MCI. In 2004, he was elected to the International Board of SITE and served as International President in 2008.
He has written and spoken all over the world on many aspects of meetings and events, regularly contributing to SITE, MPI, FICP, ICCA, IACC, ADMEI and other industry bodies. Pádraic's interests are reflected in his award-winning blog at www.padraicino.com. He also blogs on destinations and venues at EventMB.
Daryl Keywood – Vice President, Education and Certification, SITE & Managing Director and CEO, Walthers DMC
Daryl is the Managing Director and CEO at Walthers – Destination Business Solutions Africa, an award-winning company with a strong focus on incentives and conferences. The business is internationally recognised as a leader in corporate social responsibility programmes. Daryl has a deep passion for Africa and its people, travelling 3-4 months of each year, marketing and accompanying clients within the continent. He is a past Chapter President of SITE Southern Africa and currently sits on the SITE International Board of Directors.
Merina Begg – Managing Director and Owner, Argentina Travel Partners DMC
In the business for over 30 years, Merina has accumulated an extensive portfolio of knowledge in organising travel experiences around the world. Today, Merina runs Argentina Travel Partners DMC (ATP DMC), which specializes in opening up a full range of unique travel experiences for new and returning visitors to Argentina and Uruguay, whatever their age and interests.
Her independent destination management company is divided into four different departments: Meetings and Incentives, Leisure, Cruises and Special Interest, each with its own dedicated, highly professional, bilingual staff. Merina’s emphasis on teamwork, honesty, flexibility and excellent service has earned ATP DMC two SITE Crystal Awards for Excellence.
Selina Chavry – Global Managing Director, Pacific World HQ
Selina is the Global Managing Director of Pacific World, a multi award–winning destination management company operating in more than 40 countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
An Australian national, she was in the events industry for twelve years prior to joining Pacific World and has worked in London and spent most of her career in event operations as well as leading international sales and marketing activities. Selina is a dynamic leader and an active mind. Under her leadership, Pacific World has been focusing on driving innovation and operational excellence.
