SITE Minnesota Names Jane Schuldt Leadership Scholarship Winner
“Being member of SITE is such an important part of my professional development. Since joining 4 years ago, I have had the opportunity to meet leaders from all over the world who have inspired me to continue working in the industry and be the best that I can be. SITE Young Leaders is developing an amazing community of next generation of industry leaders that will ensure that the organization continues to thrive and grow into the future.”
Ashley Krueger, Account Manager at Incentive Services Inc. was named winner of the SITE Minnesota Jane Schuldt Leadership Scholarship during SITE Minnesota’s Education Day held on August 14 at the Hilton Minneapolis. The scholarship sponsors one Minnesota young leader to attend the SITE Young Leaders Conference, October 14-15 in Las Vegas.
Founder of the SITE Minnesota chapter and past president of SITE and the SITE Foundation, Jane Schuldt was a mentor to all in the MICE industry. The scholarship honors her passion, vision, and loyalty that shaped the industry.
After graduating in 2014 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Marketing and Cultural Anthropology, Ashley embarked on her career in the meetings and incentives industry as an Account Manager at FIRE Light Group. In 2017 she moved to Minneapolis, joining Incentive Services Inc.
“Incentive Services has been in business for 35 years with a primary focus on employee recognition and performance improvement. Although their rewards portfolio included some individual travel rewards, they were looking to increase their group incentive travel business and hired me to spearhead an Incentive Travel division. It’s been a great fit with my career goals!”
Ashley attended her first SITE Young Leaders Conference in 2016 and is excited to be a part of this year’s conference.
“What I loved most about my first conference was the networking. I met so many great people that have become both professional acquaintances and personal friends. I particularly love the diversity of the attendees and the opportunity to make meaningful connections with SITE Young Leaders from around the world. As co-chair of the SITE Minnesota Young Leaders group, along with Karina Kern, we are excited to bring back new ideas and strategies to help us build and grow our chapter’s young leader membership. I strongly encourage all young professionals to attend the conference!”
