SITE Midwest USA Builds Plans Around Three Core Pillars

SITE Midwest USA President, Brian Mordecai, Director of Sales & Marketing, Eleven Experience shares the chapter’s plans for 2018, built around three core pillars.

2017 was a very good year for the SITE Midwest USA Chapter. Our chapter membership experienced over 75% growth and the support and interest from our supplier community provided financial backing that allowed us to deliver a variety of networking events and educational offerings to our membership.

SITE Midwest USA Road Show.jpgOur chapter covers an expansive region in the heart of the USA - Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Ohio. Last year we broadened our exposure with our first roadshows in Kansas City and St. Louis and look forward to hosting events in Indiana and Cincinnati in September.

As the SITE Midwest board developed our plans for 2018, we did so with our core pillars in mind – INSIGHT, CONNECT, and GIVE BACK. Through both in person and online offerings, are providing relevant and insightful education through a series of webinars and roadshows. To complement our formal sessions, we will continue to provide up-to-date news and trends through our real-time news link on our website.

I think we will all agree that relationships are still a key component to how business gets done in our industry. To support this, we’ll continue to deliver networking events in a variety of locations, connecting people of all disciplines together. Our chapter region is rich with many established incentive travel companies and we look forward to creating face-to-face connections with these professionals and suppliers SITE Midwest USA.jpgthroughout the year.

Last but certainly not the least of importance, our chapter looks forward to doing our part to make the world a better place by giving back to those in need throughout our region and beyond. We are ramping up our CSR efforts in 2018, supporting SITE’s global initiative with ECPAT by engaging with satellite organizations throughout our region.

I’d like to thank Stan Hershenow for his vision and dedication as past president to grow this newest SITE chapter and welcome him as the 2018 Vice President of Finance. I am pleased to report that all of our existing Board members will continue to serve in their roles for 2018, providing us a great opportunity to build on the foundation laid in 2017.
