SITE Members Recognized for Service and Excellence to the SITE Community

 

Each year SITE recognizes several members for their service and excellence to the SITE community. Announced at the SITE + MPI Global Forum, Annual General Meeting, the following people were honored:

SITE Member of the Year 2017_web size.jpgMember of the Year: The Member of the Year award is presented to a volunteer who has left an indelible mark on SITE throughout the year. This year’s winner works worldwide and year-round to grow and promote both the SITE Ireland chapter and SITE as a whole---all while running his own business! Congratulations to SITE Member of the Year, Ken Lyons, Director, KL Communications

Kevin Forde Spirit Award: The Kevin Forde Spirit Award is given each year to a SITE member who exemplifies the traits that Kevin Forde was known and respected for: generosity of time and energy for his fellow incentive travel professionals and volunteer roles. Anyone who knows this year’s winner understands her passion and enthusiasm are boundless---both for our industry and her leadership roles in SITE. Congratulations to former board member and current SITE Southeast USA President, Pamela Shepherd, National Director, Hotel Sales, Southeast, Los Angeles Tourism.

 

Richard Ross Award 2017_web size.jpgRichard Ross Past Presidents' Award: This award, presented by the SITE Past Presidents in memory of past president and long-time member Richard Ross who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York City, recognizes an individual or organization that has furthered the vision, ideals and ethics of SITE. Known as Mr. Asia for promotion of his destination and forward thinking attitude on incentives, as well supporting SITE throughout East Asia, join us in congratulating Jacques Arnoux, Managing Director, Faces of China.

 

David Riddell Scholarship Winners 2017.jpgDavid Riddell Memorial Scholarship: The David Riddell Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of SITE Past President David Riddell to provide an opportunity for worthy individuals to attend the annual conference. The following individuals were selected by the SITE Foundation for their enthusiasm and dedication to developing themselves as well as the future of the incentive travel industry. Congratulations to this years scholarship winners:
