Following our biggest ballot for many years, two returning and three new directors have now been elected to the SITE International Board of Directors for 2020. A total of 13 candidates presented themselves for five vacant seats in Europe, Latin America and North America. The quorum of required votes having been exceeded by the agreed expiry time of 1 minute to midnight on 30 December 2019 (CST), the following candidates were deemed to have been elected:

Europe (2 vacant seats)

Miek Egberts

Ken Lyons

Latin America (1 vacant seat)

Benoit Sauvage

North America (2 vacant seats)

Kevin Edmunds

Anne-Marie Rogers

Past President of SITE and Chair of the Nominations Committee, Annamaria Ruffini, CIS, CITP, CMM was delighted with the outcome: “This year we attracted a truly great cohort of 13 candidates for our five vacant seats. We exceeded by several factors the quota of votes required for a valid poll and, for the first time in many years, were not required to extend the deadline for voting. This points to the underlying health of our great association and to the strong member engagement that we are now achieving. Welcome Miek, Ken and Benoit to the SITE IBOD and welcome back, for a second term, Kevin and Anne-Marie! May I pay special tribute too to the eight candidates who didn’t make it this time. There were very few votes separating the poll winners from everyone else – please consider putting your name forward next year again”
