The Crystal Awards recognise and celebrate creative effort, hard graft, uniqueness, the achievement of excellence … no surprises, therefore, to discover they go right back to 1983, to SITE’s first decade in existence, when over 300 gathered for the first awards ceremony in Chicago. We are, after all, an association involved in the business of incentivizing and rewarding!
Since then, each subsequent year, a small number of incentive travel programmes have been selected as paragons of excellence, providing us with a great legacy of case studies that prove the business case for incentive travel.
We’re now accepting submissions for this year’s Crystal Awards and have added an extra category in recognition of the special year that’s in it: Most Creative Solution Deployed at a Time of Crisis. This new category seeks to award incentive travel professionals and their organizations who display uncommon levels of innovation, creativity and ingenuity in identifying solutions for the continuation, deployment and implementation of incentive travel awards at a time of crisis.
