Explore Panama City with a Complimentary Panoramic Tour
Kick-off your stay with a complimentary, 3 hour Panama City tour being offered by City Sightseeing Panama. Aboard open top, double decker buses you will visit the most important tourist sites in the city that are not being offered as part of any other conference tour.
Sail the Panama Canal and Gatun Lake
The Panamá Canal, described as the Eighth Wonder of the World, continues to stand as one of the greatest feats of human ingenuity, and a symbol of the power and resilience of Panamá. This partial canal transit gives you the opportunity to travel through two sets of locks, departing from Flamenco in Amador and travelling into the Miraflores Locks. Once you reach Gamboa, you will be transferred to a boat on the Chagres River to enter Gatun Lake to sail through the Panama Canal area and visit an island inhabited by native wildlife.
Discover the Pearl Islands (Saboga Island Beach)
Discover the Pearl Islands and Saboga Island Beach by spending the day at a beautiful peaceful and secluded island with dense tropical vegetation, spectacular virgin beaches and crystal clear waters. Lunch at the open ocean-view restaurant and beach activities such as kayaking and snorkeling are included.
Experience the Hospitality of the Embera Indians
Experience first-hand the hospitality of one of Panama’s native tribes by sailing the Chagres River by canoe with the Embera Indians to visit their community in Chagres National Park. You will enjoy a traditional indigenous lunch and have the opportunity to purchase native handicrafts.
Tour the Biodiversity Museum and Artisan Market
During a tour of the Biodiversity Museum, the only building designed by Frank Gehry in Latin America, you will learn about the history of Panama and how the planet changed when Panama emerged to connect the Americas. At the Artisan Market you will be able to view and purchase skillfully crafted goods made by local artisans.
Also, don’t miss two exciting post tours to Costa Rica and Colombia
Following the conference, two extended tours are being offered for incentive-quality experiences in Guanacaste, Costa Rica and Cartagena, Colombia. If you have not yet discovered these two exciting, incentive travel destinations, we encourage you to sign up.
