Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa is hosting the Young Leaders Conference. An expansive property located off the notoriously busy Las Vegas strip, the GVR has the perfect space for our conference theme--Rewind, Retrace, Reflect. 

The Young Leaders have secured a limited block of rooms. A group code is available for Sunday night and is provided in the registration confirmation email.  The conference will open for registration and networking on Sunday at 10 AM local time. we recommend arriving Sunday morning.                                                                                        

If you are arriving Saturday, the GVR has limited spaced. A Springhill Suites and Homewood Suites are located near the property for easy access during the conference. 

GVR offers pre-scheduled shuttles to and from McCarran International Airport and the Strip.

Meet the Speakers

Gerard J. Inzerillo

Jerry, as he is known by most in the business, is a visionary known for his trademark innovation and his extensive network of contacts in tourism, hospitality, entertainment and business, cultivated during his four decades as a manager and executive in the hospitality and entertainment industries. During his storied career, Inzerillo has developed some of the world’s most famous and successful lifestyle brands in tourism and entertainment. His stewardship has been instrumental in the success of breakthrough
hotel properties, such as Atlantis and One&Only Resorts, Ian Schrager Hotels, Four Seasons and Hilton Hotels.

From 2012 to 2014, Inzerillo served as the president and CEO of IMG Artists, the global leader in artist management, performing arts and lifestyle events planning. At IMG Artists, Inzerillo directed global strategies for the company’s music, events, festivals, government consulting and artist and facility management businesses. IMG Artists manages the careers of more than 500 artists and produces 25,000 musical and lifestyle events annually.

Before coming to IMG, Inzerillo was president of Kerzner Entertainment Group, where he served from 1991 to 2011. While there, he was responsible for raising the visibility of the company and the profile of its properties in the Bahamas, Dubai, the Indian Ocean, Mexico, Morocco, Africa, Mauritius and Maldives, as well as conceptualizing and positioning its One&Only Resorts brand. Inzerillo oversaw the production and launch of several legendary properties, including the opening of the billion-dollar Phase III of Atlantis in the Bahamas in May of 2007 and the $1.5 billion Atlantis-Dubai on Palm Island in 2008, which received worldwide media coverage and was featured on the cover of Newsweek

Inzerillo resides in New York City with his wife, former CNN news anchor Prudence Solomon, and their daughter, Helena Zakade, who was named by her godfather, Nelson Mandela.

Michael Dominguez

Michael Dominguez is the Chief Sales Officer for MGM Resorts International providing oversight of sales strategies in the MICE and leisure segments, including industry relations, diversity sales and MGM Resorts Events & Production  Services.

Michael is actively involved in leadership roles in the Meetings and Events Industry and currently serves as the Past Chairman on the International Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International.

Michael was recently recognized in the industry for numerous honors including:

Hugo Slimbrouck 

Connecting people and thoughts has been at the center of Hugo's career which has now spanned over 40 years. From the hotel industry, to the convention bureau and the consulting assignments to the agency and DMC world. Hugo's dream as a child was to travel, see the world, meet people and make it his profession. He has done this in the corporate world but also in the world of associations with the global presidency of SITE as a major personal achievement in 2007. His goal is to keep doing this. In short term, to keep the world meeting, and bring success to those parts of the meetings industry which we cover. In a long term to share success with his company MCI Group and be a pro-active player in the development of Ovation Global DMC as a world leader in this field. In all of his professional roles, Huge has been a professional networker, bringing people and thoughts together. He will continue to speak at industry events around the globe to share knowledge and experiences as well as inspiring  professionals of his and of the younger generations.


Miguel Assis

A proven events specialist with over 13 years’ experience developing event and incentive travel business for Brazil, Florida, Portugal and Spain, Miguel brings the combined resources of 150 event professionals from 7 offices across the Iberian Peninsula, Brazil and Latin America.

He spent his formative years heading the sales and marketing function for events by tlc in Portugal with a global responsibility for events and incentive travel programmes in Portugal. During this period the company won a number of industry awards for excellence. 

 In 2011, he was instrumental in launching events by tlc in Brazil, first in Sao Paulo and then in Rio de Janeiro.  As the company grew he has focused on the key markets for Brazil both domestically and internationally; Portugal and Spain from the North and South American markets.Nowadays he is back in Portugal heading the global sales team.

He is passionate about the business and in an industry where “ its all about people”, he has developed an enviable client base through great product, meticulous project planning and seamless onsite delivery.

Annette Gregg

Annette Gregg, CMM, MBA is VP, West for AlliedPRA. She has an extensive background in the meeting and hospitality industry, serving in executive level positions for corporations, associations and non-profits. Since 1995, she has also taught at several universities and is currently Program Advisor for San Diego State University’s Meeting and Event Certificate Program, one of the most successful professional programs in the university’s history. Annette has delivered hundreds of keynotes and workshops on a variety of topics such as communication skills, branding and marketing, negotiation, and professional development. She was elected Instructor of the Year at San Diego State University in 2009, and inducted into the Center for Business Intelligence’s Circle of Excellence for her training and speaking. She currently serves on the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Board of Directors. In 2016, she was named to the MeetingsNet Changemakers list, and awarded Planner of the Year for Meeting Professionals International, San Diego.

Jonathan Bradshaw

Jonathan Bradshaw researches, speaks, writes and trains in the subject of Meetology® - the fascinating science powering interpersonal communication. He is Founder of the Meetology® Lab and leads the company's team of behavioural scientists in collating and sharing behavioural research on how humans can connect, interact and communicate more effectively. As a popular keynote speaker Jon has presented at conferences and business events in over 30 countries and, as well as being an award-winning columnist, shares short, practical, science-based tips via his weekly Meetology® Minute video blog to subscribers around the world.

Away from work Jon is a keen sportsman. Once a semi-professional footballer, he has run his own personal training business, climbed on Mt. Everest and Kilimanjaro, and organised and completed a 3400mile/5500km European charity bike ride.

Patrick Smith

PATRICK SMITH is a hotel sales executive with over 25 years of hospitality industry experience.  Patrick speaks, blogs, and travels extensively in his current role leading the group sales teams and efforts in North America for The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW).The Leading Hotels of the World is the oldest (founded in 1928) and largest (375+ properties) luxury hotel brand in the world. Patrick has grown the group sales business for LHW by upwards of 30% in total volume since joining the brand four years ago by changing LHW’s sales focus towards targeted client engagement efforts and with unique positioning to the market. 

In his spare time Patrick is an insufferable music snob and bon vivant who enjoys reading cheery books, watching documentaries, drinking too much booze, writing checks to repair his vintage BMW, carpentry, all manner of exercise, cooking at home, and seeking out authentic and local experiences.


Sam McNeil

SongDivision's Global Creative Director, Sam McNeill is and fast becoming one the most in demand key note speakers and facilitators on the planet. At just 31, Sam has delivered over 300 key notes, team building workshops, gala awards evenings and product launches across Australia, Asia, Europe and The US. With a Bachelor of Music Studies (majoring in classical voice) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Sam is no stranger to the stage, having spent 5 years with Opera Australia in his youth. Other career highlights include performing at the Sydney Olympic Opening Ceremony and touring with world-class performers globally. 
The last 2 years have seen Sam recognised both locally and international, winning Future Leader awards with both Meetings & Events Australia and the Professional Convention Management Association (an award he was flown to Boston to receive).

Sam's professionalism and energy has made him a favourite among clients, having already worked with many of the biggest brands on the planet, including Virgin, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, McDonald’s, Spotify, HP and Fujitsu to name just a small few.

Judi Holler

Judi an expert on personal branding who helps Event Professionals learn how to expand their network, embrace fear and get a competitive edge. Judi has spent the last 15 years working in Sales and Marketing for companies like Marriott, Omni and Starwood Hotels. She was recently selected as one of Connect Magazines 40 under 40 in the Hospitality Industry and is the immediate Past President of MPI Chicago.

Judi is a professionally trained improviser and proud alumni of Second City in Chicago. She also works as an event emcee and hosts “The Brandprov Show” (a personal branding video blog for event professionals) on her YouTube Channel. Judi a proud member of the National Speakers Association; is an avid reader; loves traveling; and is all about Heart & Hustle.
