Storytelling: A Sales Pro’s Most Powerful Sales Tool
Sunday, April 23rd, 3:30-4:30PM
Stories are universal in their use, appeal, and effectiveness—across cultures and across ages. In this course, participants will learn to craft and use compelling stories to sell incentive travel solutions to clients. Participants will learn to develop an audience profile to help tailor the story to the client, as well as components that comprise a compelling story to aid in development of the story. Finally, participants will consider positioning the story in a sales presentation and consider other sales opportunities where storytelling might be beneficial.

Catherine Jones is a seasoned incentive travel professional with over 20 years’ experience in the incentive industry as well as a Certified Incentive Travel Executive. Catherine is the owner of a boutique incentive travel house, The Edventives Group where she develops custom turn key Incentive travel programs for corporations. Previous to her career in incentive travel, Catherine attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Catherine holds both a Master of Arts in History as well as a Master’s of Business Administration, also from Southern Methodist University.

Currently overseeing the Northwest US, Mexico and Europe for Maui Jim Sunglasses corporate gifts division, Jonathan is an experienced sales & marketing executive with an international background in the luxury hotels market place with both Hilton International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts in the UK, before joining Galactic Ltd, a full service meetings and incentive house in the USA.
