This mid-level education targets the main incentive travel industry professional disciplines, with more than twelve hours of unique coursework that will provide continuing education credit (CEs). The curriculum is comprised of the three tracks below, each containing three to five courses that help incentive travel professionals--both buyers and suppliers--enhance their knowledge of the industry.

New! Competency Model for Incentive Travel Professionals:

Thanks to support from the SITE Foundation, SITE has undertaken an extensive job analysis study to define competencies for incentive travel professionals based on three job families: Coordinator, Manager and Director. This initiative is the first of its kind for our industry and will continue to support SITE Education as we develop curriculum dedicated to growing members within each job level. New curriculum and resources will be introduced starting in 2017, and in the meantime we are excited to share each of the three competency models for your use. Common uses of these resources include promotions, hiring and goal-setting. Click the links below to download.

CMP Preferred Provider

cmpSITE is a CMP Preferred Provider. The programs identified with the CMP Preferred Provider logo met the requirements to receive continuing education (CE) credit for the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential. All qualifying activities also indicate how many CE credits attendees will receive for participating.

For more information about the CMP credential or CMP Preferred Provider Program, please visit www.conventionindustry.org.

Note: This program is not endorsed, accredited, or affiliated with the Convention Industry Council or the CMP Program. Applicants may receive CE credit for attending any program that meets eligibility requirements of the CMP Program. There are no specific individual courses required as part of the application--selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs. 25 hours of continuing education (CE) are required both for certifying (first time) and recertifying. Anyone can create a profile on CMP's website so that their CE hours can be tracked. For more information, please contact education@siteglobal.com.

New! Speaker Database

SITE is excited to provide chapter leaders with a speaker database to consult as they determine speakers and subject matter experts for chapter events throughout the year. Chapter leaders can click here to access the speaker database.

If you or someone you know would like to be considered to speak at SITE chapter events the first step is to complete this survey. Facilitators must have incentive travel experience and have successfully completed the SITE Train the Trainer course.
