Getting involved is the best way to get the most return on your membership.

Site recognizes the value and contributions of our volunteer members.  More than 100 industry expert volunteers are involved annually to help shape and deliver the programs that Site offers.

Opportunities exist for involvement for Site committees and project expert positions.  The Call for Volunteers is issued each year to prepare for the coming year's activities and all members are asked to get involved.

Site Committee Descriptions

Committees are outlined in the Policies & Procedures Manual and serve the entirety of a calendar year.

Committee	Description	Time Commitment
By-Laws/Policy	Performs general reviews of Site's bylaws and policies and makes recommendations for updating and revising them as needed.	Ongoing review of individual bylaw and policy and procedures review and e-mail communication as required.
Ethics	Acts as counsel and decision-maker on cases of alleged unethical conduct involving a Site member and takes heed of legal advice on such matters while ensuring complete confidentiality at all times.	Conference calls as issues are brought to the committee's attention.
Finance	Evaluate budget details, financial processes and make recommendations to the full International Board of Directors.	Members are from the International Board of Directors and Site Global.
International Conference Education	Assist with education program and speaker selection for Site International Conference to ensure true global represenation and meaningful education.	Monthly phone calls with periods of more interaction closer to the event and peak periods.
Membership	Develops and expands the Site membership profile while maximizing benefits for existing members, develops targeted recruitment campaigns utilizing the existing membership network, increases member awareness and recognition while enhancing a sense of belonging, actively encourages members to participate in Site activities.	Monthly conference calls and at least one month of serving as a sponsor for those needing referrals.
Nominations	Produces a group of well-qualified candidates for election to the Site International Board of Directors, reviews nomination procedures and supervises elections in a highly confidential and professional manner; Insures all candidates and their employers have a thorough grasp of the task and commitment levels involved;	4-5 conference calls per calendar year and e-mail discussions as needed.
Young Leaders Program	Increase member awareness and participation in YLP through offering education sessions at Site events and tradeshows, social media presence, hosting YLP receptions and actively engage in the development and execution of program for Young Leaders.	Monthly conference calls, e-mail and online communications.
