The tour will then proceed to the Table Mountain cable station. A state-of-the-art cable car rotates 360 degrees on its way to the top, offering you a panoramic view on your journey to the top.
Cape Point Tour with Adventure Boating
The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast passing through the fishing village of Hout Bay. At Hout Bay Harbour you will embark on a speedboat excursion and skim along the swells towards Seal Island. The Skipper of each boat will tell you stories of sea monsters, ghost ships and shipwrecks as well as the other historically significant details that make the Cape of Storms so notoriously famous. From there, travel to Simons Town via Constantia Valley through South Africa’s oldest wine estates. At Simons Town you will stop to visit the sculpture raised in honor of the famous Great Dane, Able Seaman Just Nuisance. Then visit the largest colony of Jackass Penguins at Boulders Beach before heading home over the spectacular Old Cape Road.

Community Service Activity with Baphumelele Orphanage
In 1989, when Rosalia Mashale (“Rosie” to those around her) a trained primary school teacher, moved from the Eastern Cape to Khayelitsha she was disturbed to see young children going through the rubbish dump in search for food while their parents were away during the day, either at work or in search of work. She responded by taking children into her home, and together with a group of women from the community, began looking after these unsupervised children. After the first week, 36 children had joined their charge. The name given to this project was Baphumelele (pronounced: bah-poo-meh-LAY-lay), a Xhosa word meaning “progress”. Through the hard work, determination and help of the community and overseas friends, Baphumelele has developed into a thriving community project over the years that is caring for approximately 230 children.
