The Caribbean Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchange (CMITE) is the only all-inclusive, invitation-only, appointment-based event catering exclusively to the Caribbean MICE market. The event, hosted by Jamaica and in partnership with Site, brings together North American buyers with pre-qualified Caribbean suppliers and consists of pre-arranged one-to-one meetings.
- Buyers attending CMITE represent over $248 million in meeting and incentive travel decision-making for the Caribbean.
- They seek to book their meeting incentive programs with leading partners around the Caribbean including: hotels and resorts, spas, destinations, cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies and more.
- The commitment is to bring pre-qualified high volume buyers via a comprehensive screening process including interviews, reference checks, a review of past travel incentive purchases and anticipated future purchasing performance. Only the most qualified buyers will be invited to attend.
High-volume buyers with key purchasing roles and a vested interest in the Caribbean MICE market may apply for one of the fully hosted positions.
