The theory session teaches students the basic rules for scuba diving, such as dealing with pressure, breathing on scuba, and how to use the equipment. The dive boat goes to a shallow reef or wreck on the west side and an instructor will accompany the student at all times underwater. The dive is approximately 30 minutes long and goes to a maximum of depth of 40 feet.
A confidential medical form must be filled out prior to enrollment, and a physician's release may be required.
Dives for Certified Divers
Diving in Aruba is famous for the spectacular shipwrecks and interesting coral formations that dominate Aruba’s underwater realm. This includes the 400 foot long Antilla, the second-largest wreck in the Caribbean.
Most of Aruba’s dive sites lie along the protected western and southern coasts, a short distance from the high rise hotels along Palm Beach. Aruba’s waters are rich in exotic marine life, including stingrays, moray eels, barracudas and yellow tail. A large, shallow sand plateau surrounds the island, making boat travel the most convenient method of reaching the off-shore reefs.
Interesting coral formations are found from shallow water depths of 20 to 100 feet, with little or no current. Over 20 moored dive sites are shared by the dive operators on the island.
Tierra del Sol Golf Tournament

Views from almost any area of the club include turquoise sea and desert vegetation growing around huge boulder formations. The picturesque California Lighthouse is in the distance and is particularly stunning from the third hole.
Golf carts are outfitted with a ParView GPS satellite dish and a 10.4-inch color screen that projects green overviews and gives the exact distance from the cart to the center of the green, electronic scoring, and two-way communication with the clubhouse. Rental clubs and shoes are available.
Exclusively for Site Conference attendees a complimentary 9-hole golf tournament will be organized on Friday afternoon, starting at 14:00 EST. Capacity is limited, so sign up now!
