Responsibility

A Board Member's term begins on 1 January after the year of his election and runs for three years



Voting

Criteria for a valid Ballot are:

1. For the Europe board seat:

  • members can choose a maximum of one candidate for the open seat
  • a ballot is valid if a member chooses only one candidate
  • a ballot is valid if a member does not choose any Europe candidate
  • if a member mistakenly votes for more than one Europe candidate, the ballot is invalid

2. For the North America board seats:

  • members can choose a maximum of two candidates for the open seats
  • a ballot is valid if a member chooses only one candidate
  • a ballot is valid if a member does not choose any North America candidate
  • if a member mistakenly votes for more than two North America candidates, the ballot is invalid

 



Application

How to apply for election

Site Global e-mails the membership in May notifying them of the years' open Board positions. If your country has an open seat and you wish to run, please fill in the point grid below and fax it to our Site Global office at +1.312.673.6969. A confirmation e-mail of intent to run will be sent once the fax is received.

A candidate must have been a member for at least 12 months and must have a minimum of 45 points accumulated from the following criteria to run for the Board of Directors (15 of which must be derived from numbers 4 through 11):

4. Attendance at Site-sponsored Chapter, Chapter-in-Formation, or regional activity committee educational event 2 points each; 10 points maximum  
5. Attendance at Site International Conference, ESNEP, Site Executive Summit or other Site event 5 points each; 20 points maximum  
6. Service as Site Committee Chair 10 points each; 20 points maximum  
7. Service as Site Committee Vice Chair 5 points each; 20 points maximum  
8. Service as Site Chapter, Chapter-in-Formation or regional activity committee chair 6 points each; 12 points maximum  
9. Regional activity committee chairperson; Chapter or Chapter-in-Formation President 10 points each; 20 points maximum  
10. Chapter or Chapter-in-Formation Officer (other than president) or Director 21 points maximum  
11. Service as Site Chapter, Chapter-in-Formation or regional activity committee member 3 points each; 15 points maximum  
12. Speaker/presenter/facilitator/moderator at Site-sponsored educational event or program 5 points each; 15 points maximum  
13. Speaker, presenter, facilitator, or moderator at incentive industry educational event or program 2 points each; 6 points maximum  
14. Earned CITE designation 20 points  
15. Earned other industry designations (CMP, CMM etc.) 10 points each  
16. Authored article published in InSite (Site News & Events) 3 points each; 9 points maximum  
17. Authored article on motivation or incentives published in other trade/business publication 3 points each; 9 points maximum  
18. Holds an executive management position (CEO, President, Vice President, CFO, COO, General Manager, Director, etc.) 1 point per year; 10 points maximum  
19. Has 100 or more employees or staff members who report directly to them; or has responsibility for a minimum of $50 million USD in revenue 10 points  
20. Other industry related association (MPI, ISES, etc.) Board Service 5 points each; 10 points maximum
